Letters, Potions and Promises Writing Workshop
A partnership with the Goodman Theatre
DEADLINE EXTENDED!
Remy Bumppo and the Goodman Theatre are excited to partner on a FREE writing workshop for early-career and emerging women and femme BIPOC writers! This 3-day workshop will take place in person at Remy Bumppo’s rehearsal room space and at the Goodman Theatre. Each day of the workshop will be led by a different facilitator, responding to and deeply engaging with a piece of work by Pearl Cleage. The facilitators are Martine Kei Green-Rogers (Oct. 3), Gabrielle Randle-Bent (Oct. 7), and Lachrisa Grandberry (Oct. 10). Our goal is to create an affinity space for writers of all disciplines to find community, be inspired, and explore new ways of approaching their work through the lineage of a Black American writer.
In order for participants to get the most out of this workshop, we are only accepting 12 writers. Please see below for the application process!
