Master Class: Scene Study

Remy Bumppo returns with its scene study class designed for the working professional actor. This class provides the opportunity to work with four professional Chicago directors on a variety of materials – each week the director will choose scenes and/or monologues for each student in the class. 

Comedy Scene Study

During these classes with Cindy Gold we will look at period style in comedy as well as contemporary comic scenes. Styles classes will introduce students to Noel Coward and how one handles accoutrement, props, and language.

Playwriting 101

A two-day workshop that provides an introduction to the craft (and art!) of playwriting. Led by Core Ensemble Member Aurora Real de Asua, you’ll go through various writing exercises, introduce the various play structures, and demystify how to get over writer’s block.
