Rebecca Zemans

Rebecca Zemans (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist, educator and entrepreneur. In addition to creating custom sculptural jewelry, her more conceptual work explores the relationship between industry and the natural world. She has had a studio at Lillstreet Art Center for over fifteen years. Before that, she was a blacksmith and welder at the Crucible in West Oakland, CA while teaching theater and art in San Francisco. She holds a BFA in Visual Art and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Michigan. Born and raised in Hyde Park, as a child she attended Interlochen Arts Camp where her love of theater was sown. An avid environmentalist, she also enjoys coaching youth baseball, playing tennis, cooking, and being a mom to three young children.
