08/09 Sponsorship Opportunities


FIRST REHEARSAL RECEPTION: $500 each, $1000 full sponsorship

The First Rehearsal Reception enhances the Remy Bumppo subscribers and donors experience through one-on-one interaction with the artists. Sponsorships cover the costs of food and drink for this event. The evening includes an example of a working rehearsal. The sponsor is invited to bring 4 friends to the event, and will receive a cast-signed copy of the play’s script, recognition in the production’s playbill plus receipt of the benefits associated with The RoundTable. The First Rehearsal Reception takes place at Remy Bumppo’s rehearsal studio at 3717 N. Ravenswood, Suite 245. The dates are:

· Old Times: Wednesday, April 1, 2009, 6:30-8:30

 
MAINSTAGE OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION: $1200 each, $3600 full sponsorship

Opening night sponsorships cover the costs of food and drink for the post performance party. The sponsor will receive 4 tickets to the opening performance, a photo with cast, recognition in the production’s playbill, plus receipt of the benefits associated with The RoundTable.  The Opening Night Reception takes place at The Greenhouse Theatre. The dates of the Opening Nights are:

· The Marriage of Figaro: Sunday, November 16, 2008, 7:00pm

· Old Times: Sunday, April 26, 2009; 7:00pm
 

TRANSLATIONS & ADAPTATIONS PLAY READING SERIES: $1000 each, $4000 full sponsorship

Four times a year readings of translations and adaptations are scheduled to engage the Remy Bumppo community by providing an immediate reaction to new works and/or to receive feedback on possible plays to perform as a mainstage production. Sponsorship of a play reading includes cost of scripts, plus the stipend paid to the director and actors who participate in the reading. Sponsors receive a cast-signed copy of script and recognition in the program plus receipt of the benefits associated with The RoundTable.  The Play Readings take place at The Greenhouse Theatre. The dates of the Play Readings are:

· Romeo & Juliet: Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 6:30

· A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court: Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 6:30
 

BETWEEN THE LINES: $500 each, $3000 full sponsorship

Between the Lines is Remy Bumppo’s literary lecture series. Occurring twice per production, attendees receive a lecture connected to a performance at the The Greenhouse Theatre from a Chicagoan with particular expertise on an issue addressed in the play at hand, a study guide created by our dramaturg, and a talk-back following the performance. Sponsorship of Between the Lines includes recognition in the playbill, in the study guide (also available for download on our website), 2 tickets to the lecture and performance sponsored, plus receipt of the benefits associated with The RoundTable.
