Current Internships
We are currently looking for interns for FALL 2008 and later.Marketing
Daytime and Evening, 16 hours/weekThe summer Marketing Internsip will focus on public relations and marketing efforts for Remy Bumppo’s upcoming 2008/09 season. Writing projects include press releases, and postcard copy. Secondary projects include archiving materials from the current season, pasting up press clippings, media database cleanup, and other marketing/public relations support. Available dates: May 27 through August 29.
Special Events
Daytime and evening, 16 hours/week
The Special Events intern will gain valuable experience in all aspects of event planning and execution. Working closely with the Program Director, the Special Events intern will coordinate logistics for all events including: volunteer management, catering, technical needs, purchasing and maintaining inventory, and running events. Events include Opening Night receptions, Firtst Rehearsal Receptions, Season Salon, and play readings. Applicants must have a reliable car and be able to lift 25 pounds.

All applicants must include a short essay discussing your interest and careers goals in theatre. In addition, please briefly list the specific Internship goals you hope to accomplish at Remy Bumppo.

Requirements
Interns must be at least 18 years of age and have some experience in the area of specialty and some computer literacy. While a theatre degree is not necessary, Remy Bumppo interns are usually people who plan to pursue a career in the arts. The minimum time commitment is 2 days a week in day and/or evening work.
*Compensation
Remy Bumppo offers its interns either a limited stipend or academic credit. Stipends are determined by time commitment and type of internship. Remy Bumppo will assist in tailoring internships to meet the credit requirements of individual schools. However, interns must make all credit arrangements.
While international applicants are encouraged to apply, Remy Bumppo cannot sponsor foreign applicants or assist with visa arrangements. All housing arrangements are the responsibility of the intern.
