365 Days / 365 Plays
by Suzan-Lori Parks
Beginning in November 2002, Pulitzer Prizewinner Suzan-Lori Parks wrote a play a day for one year. Now, each week for an entire year, a different Chicagoland theater company will mount seven world premiere short plays as part of 365 Days/365 Plays. Every one of these plays is FREE and open to the public. From the city's most established companies to its tiniest storefronts, from Lake Forest to the South Side, enjoy a year of free theater by one of the country's most exciting playwrights.
On October 25-27, 2007 Remy Bumppo presented a week of
365 Days/365 Plays. The cast included Stephanie Diaz, Patrice Egleston, Sean Fortunato, Phyllis Griffin, Erron Jay, Ashlee Olivia Jones, Danielle O'Farrell, Nick Sandys, Tiffany Villarin, and Dexter Zollicoffer. The performances were directed by
Nick Sandys.
